Where to use it
The Alvolta Luna-S 100 V 40 A MPPT Solar Controller can handle medium to large arrays, turning a roof of panels into steady charging for a large battery bank on extended trips. Compatible with 12V and 24V systems and rated for 550 - 1100 W of solar input, the Luna-S 100 V 40 A suits caravans, motorhomes, 4x4s, as well as off-grid cabins and sheds. Its 100 V input lets you wire panels in series, so less power is lost over longer cable runs.
Its compact housing sits comfortably inside electrical cabinets and storage spaces to remain tucked out of sight (although it's so good-looking, maybe you'll want it on display). It's rated IP32, which means it needs a dry, ventilated position out of direct sun and rain. Handling up to +65°C means that the Alvolta Luna-S range is perfect for Aussie outback summers, and it's backed with a 3-year warranty.
