Sungrow's RS range of inverters presents a highly suitable, efficient and cost effective solar component solution for residential homes, particularly those with smaller roof areas or properties requiring all modules installed in the same direction.
The RS series are lightweight, transformerless, string inverters with a wide MPPT voltage range and Wi-Fi communications included. Like most modern string inverters, the Sungrow residential inverters are cooled via passive cooling using a large rear heat sink. Due to the efficient design, no power de-rating is specified to occur below 45°C ambient temperature, which is impressive for a passively cooled inverter. This range of inverters include a smart LED panel, offering maximum inverter control. Easily check daily energy yield, instantaneous AC power or the working state of the inverter.
The Sungrow SG2RS-S is a single-phase inverter solution, with 2kW of inverter capacity. This module offers a single Multiple Power Point Tracker or MPPT, allowing for connection to a single solar array of panels that are all facing the same direction. This model is compact, only weighing 6kg and with small dimensions, making it the ideal choice for small residential systems.
