It is the perfect all-in-one bundle for users looking to build a high-quality dual battery system that charges from both their vehicle’s alternator while driving and solar panels when stationary.
How to use it
Install the Enerdrive DC40+ between your vehicle’s starter and auxiliary battery using the provided 16mm² dual battery DIY kit. The charger features two totally independent DC inputs, allowing you to connect both your engine alternator (12V or 24V) and solar panels (up to 45V/800W) simultaneously. Run the tinned cable through the split conduit for protection, and install the included Alvolta circuit breakers for safety.
Once wired, use the LCD display to select your battery profile (GEL, AGM, Flooded, Lithium, or Custom). The charger works automatically - managing power from the engine or solar without the need for external relays - and regulates its output based on connected loads to protect your battery bank.
